So, I did something that scared me and pushed me out of my comfort zone. Public speaking is difficult for most people, and in Virtual Reality it's no different. You still have an audience hanging on to your every word and you know there are still people behind the avatars.
But why is it beneficial? The sessions I run in VR are completely free to attendees. This means anyone and everyone can join and gain good quality training advice for free. They can gather all of the information needed, ask questions they may have and then go back to digest it all and put it into practise when they may have time.
There is no need to bring your dog to a group session that they may feel uncomfortable with and you can practise where they feel the most safe - at home. The human end of the lead also doesn't feel the pressure to perform and get it right every time, straight away.
Lastly, the ability to book a 121 is still a possibility. Maybe you tried something and struggled or you have your own difficulties with your dog then your able to contact me direct and book a 121.
The sessions I run are inside bantervr.com and you don't actually need a VR headset to join. They are every other week on a Saturday 10am GMT.
