A recent trip to Spain meant I got to spend Valentine's Day with this absolute love bug. She greeted me with a big waggy tail and was ready to hop into the car for a walk. So trusting, given she had never met me before.
Excitable at the start she was ready to go, but it didn't take her long to settle in and she was so good on the lead. Not having any of my dog walking gear on me meant she was kept on a short lead but she did so well. I let her lead the way and she what she wanted to sniff - after all this was her walk.
On the way back to the car we had to jump over a stream which she did brilliantly. however, she spotted a homeless ball and needed to bring that back with her. So we fished out of the stream and she proudly carried it back to the car, nearly forgot to take it home with her but we reminded her and she fetched it.
The sad things about this beautiful girl is she is waiting to meet her forever people to take her to her forever home. She is being looked after extremely well but can't live with cats so can't be safely integrated with her foster family but as long as she has an endless supply of balls, and love and there are no cats to annoy her she will be someone's best friend.
